IMMORTALS

Last night I watched the new Tarsem Singh epic new movie 'Immortals' which is based on Greek Mythology and one man's journey to earning a place amongst the Gods. The storyline is flawless and the cinematography is perfectly ideal and beautiful. However, there is something more important that contributed to the success of the film and it comes in the form of a 6ft1 hunk of manliness. Henry Cavill.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be a total girl about this. I love the plot, the gore, the moral undertones of the productions but the truth is you can't deny that Cavill is a babe. Thesues (his character - a mortal who is chosen by the Gods to lead against evil King Hyperion) is loyal, compassionate, trustworthy, strong and passionate about what he believes. He is the epitome of what every man should be and not only does he possess all this, but it comes wrapped up in a godlike and chizzled body.

I am aware that Henry Cavill is no Theseus and that I am fantasizing over a character from a fantasy film where Zeus, oricals and titans exist but it's just so hard not to. On a serious note however, Henry Cavill is an amazing actor and I do hope to see more of him and 'Immortals' is in fact, one of the best films I've seen this year.

P.S Zeus aint bad either.

I wish I was Gwen Stefani

Iggy Azalea

A friend showed me just the other day and it's safe to say I'm in love. Iggy Azalea is a new female rap artist who is not only unbelievably hot but doesn't give a f**k. This is her track 'My World'.

D.I.Y fashion.

I've never really been massive on the whole 'do it yourself' look, but lately I've been so bored of my wardrobe. So, I decided to mix it up a little. Starting with my cheap and cheerful black, sandal wedges that I brought for my summer in Greece. It was daunting at first because I practically live in these puppies, but once I got started I couldn't stop. All I used were drawing pins, lots of drawing pins.

Luckily, the heel of my shoes is cork so it was so quick and easy to do; I simply dabbed a bit of glue onto the pin and pushed them into the wedge.
I think the end result is pretty cool:

Marrying For Love (The Love Of McQueen)

I’m not a romantic. FACT. However, as I was casually browsing through ‘What’s New’ at Net-a-porter, I stumbled across this McQueen number and it’s quite safe to say I fell in love. Not just any love though, not like the love I feel for The Row sunglasses and Jeffrey Campbell heels, but a love that makes me want to fall in love. (I wish I would stop saying love). This hand-embroidered silk chiffon dress makes me want to get married, even though I’ve never been the young girl who dreams about her big, perfect day.

This, what can only be described as a beautiful dress from Alexander McQueen’s FW11 collection is the epitome of a flawless dress. Embellished with silver-like embroidery and decorated with pearls, the bodice of this faultlessly structured dress is not only elegant but fashionably chic, I think it makes the ideal bridal attire.

It only costs about £17,000, but they do say you can’t put a price on love, and that’s how I feel about this dress.
